These friends of mine had to have their babies delivered @ 34 wks this past wk. Well they are both living and not doing so good. here is a post their Dad posted on facebook:
Leigh Ricks- I just wanted to start by thinking everyone who is praying for my family at the time of need. As yall know both of my angels had to have surgery today. They both have Cystic Fibrosis. We still need as many prays for my two lovely angels. They are doing OK tonight. This is a day to day battle we have to go though. With ...GODS wil everything will be OK. Again Thanks to everyone who is thinking of us and praying for us. SO everyone please pass this around and get some prayers goin up for these 2 babies. I know GOD is able to do anything if its his will and I want his will to be done in this. Pray for this family cause I know they need all the prayers they can get and will appreciate them. The name of the parents are Leigh and Julie Ricks ,the babies names are Rylie and Kylie.... I know theres people on here from all around so lets get this prayer chain goin.! Love to all!!!! Here is an update from their Mom:
Just got back from seeing Riley and Kiley....they are doing ok for right now both are sleeping. Kiley had a bad day she was in a lot pain, but morfin seems to help some. Riley had a pretty good day she is under the U V rays for 24 hours she make get to eat for the first time tomorrow if everything goes well. I ask everyone to please keep us in u prayers...... they are staying in the Ronald McDonald house near the hospital...someone posted earlier that is $105 a wk....pray that GOD works it out for them to be able to pay that and supply their needs. Unless they have changed it, the families don't have to pay to stay at the Ronald McDonald house, maybe a donation because the Childrens Miracle Network and groups like that pay for the families.

wanted to let everyone know to pray for this family. the grandfather of the twins was picked up by ambulance and took to the same hospital as the twins and they are saying hes had a stroke. Also, the grandfather's nephews wife is 28 wks pregnant and is in the same hospital shes has viral viral meningitis .they've had to put her on a ventalator so this family is really in need of lots of prayers. thanks and GOD BLESS!

Still remember this family. The mother that is 28 wks pregnant is not doing good at all. they called today and said they was gonna have to take the baby because her heart is failing but they haven't took it yet. they said her (mother)'s heart isnt working but 35 % so they really need prayers. THey have said don't even know that the mother will make it if they have to take the baby. So thanks for all the prayers and keep em coming.

UPDATE ON FAMILY...THIS WAS POSTED ON THE CARINGBRIDGE SITE TONITE FOR THE BABIES:
Just a short note to let everyone know about today. Riley got to come home (or at least to the Ronald Mcdonald House) around lunch today. Changing diapers and every three hour feedings have never been so much fun. Erin was at the RMH for the homecoming, too. She wants to do everything for her little sis. As great as having Riley with the family was, it was sad to know Kiley is by herself at the NICU. She's had those long awaited poopie diapers, but the doctors say she has too much stomach secretions coming from her ot tube to start any feedings. Maybe tomorrow. Overall, it's been a good day. Thank you God for everything. Good Nite! Margena AINT GOD GOOD? ALSO ON THE MOTHER THAT WAS 28 WKS PREGNANT WITH THE VIRAL MENENGITIS SHE GOT TO GO HOME ON SAT. THE DRS TOLD THEM HE HAS NEVER HAD A PATIENT IN THE SHAPE SHE WAS IN GET THAT AND LIVE . THAT IT WAS A MIRACLE. BUT APPARENTLY HE MUST NOW BELIEVE AND KNOW WHAT OUR GOD CAN & WILL DO. GOD is still working in these babies lives. The one still in the hospital is doing good.The Grandparents was @ church Sunday Night. Pray that they will continue to come to church ....Dont have to be our church but ANY church. Thanks again for all the prayers. Update:
Letting everyone know that the other baby got outta the hospital yesterday. AINT GOD GOOD! Her grandma told me a week ago that they had said it would be 4-6 more wks before she got out. BUT OUR GOD HAD OTHER PLANS! ITS SO GREAT WHAT GOD IS DOING IN THIS FAMILIES LIFE. NONE OF THEM WAS IN CHURCH AND SINCE THIS HAS HAPPENED AND GOD SHOWED THEM WHAT HE COULD DO SOME OF THEM ARE COMING. IM SO THANKFUL THAT GOD IS STILL IN THE HEALING AND SAVING BUSINESS. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE PRAYERS. UPDATE ON THE OTHER LADY THAT WAS PREGNANT. THEY WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE HER BABY YESTERDAY, SAID IT DIDNT WEIGH BUT 2 LBS BUT THEY HAD TO TAKE IT CAUSE IT WASNT GROWING IN THE MOTHER. PRAY THAT IF ITS GOD'S WILL THAT EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT ....THANKS AGAIN!!! |

Sorry I haven't given an update on these babies....I had been sick for 2 wks and have had alot going on.
UPDATE: Riley is still doing good. But Kiley is back in Atlanta...shes not doing good @ all. they said something is going on with her liver and they wanted to take part of it out. Shes been back in Atlanta for about 3 wks now. The parents said something about having her moved from the hospital shes in cause shes getting worser there other than better. Just pray that GOD'S WILL will be done in this baby's life. and Pray for the families to accept whatever his WILL is. I saw Riley on Friday and shes looking good! the Mom had told me then that Kiley was supposed to come home today if she kept doing good then they got the call that she wasnt and they had to go back. thanks and GOD BLESS!!! |

PRAY PRAY My Uncle just called me and said that Kiley isn't doing good @ all and they not expecting her to make it. They needed to reverse the surgery they did on her and can't because she is so weak. I know that GOD'S WILL is gonna be done , just pray that the family will be able to accept his will ! I know it has to be hard on them to stand there looking @ her and knowing there is nothing they can do but PRAY! thanks ahead of time and GOD BLESS!

Kiley is back in Atl....She has a tear in her intestine and it is leaking in her body. They don't know how bad it is because her body temperature has dropped really low and they have her under the temperature lamp....Her Grandpa told me she is losing the weight she has gained and she really needs alot of prayers. Only GOD can heal her if thats His WILL! her Grandpa said this made the 7 or 8th time that she has got so bad and always pulled through. Thanks for the prayers and :GBY:
